April Fool´s Day 5K Fun Run

April Fool´s Day 5K Fun Run

The April Fool´s Day 5K Fun Run coordinated by The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort  took place yesterday to great success — from the cheerful organization to the smiling, multi-hued finishers!

Punta Mita residents and guests joined in the fun to promote healthiness and happiness by bringing the community together to celebrate the community’s new running path. The 5K Punta Mita Fun Run had participants doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer and in honor of April Fool´s Day runners where met with fun obstacles such as hay stacks to jump over and a large inflatable to climp and slide down from. There were only two simple rules: Wear white at the start line and finish plastered in color!

The Punta Mita Recreational Route, recently opened, extends from the St. Regis to the Palm Court turnaround, and complements the 2 existing routes. The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort will be organizing more of these Fun Runs, each with a different theme, focusing less on breaking records and more on getting active and having a good time.
